Baby O Update - 23 weeks
I'm finally starting to look pregnant... at least in the right shirts. Stripes don't lie, and neither do empire waists. I even had a few strangers comment on my baby bump (though timidly and more as a shy question than an outright statement). It's a funny thing when, for the first time in your life, you feel like you might be looking too small.
Everything is going well and we are still hoping to find out if baby O is a boy or girl. I have a stack of sewing projects all lined up for as soon as we know. Baby O is more and more active each day. The kicks and flips bring me so much joy, but they often take me by surprise and I've sometimes cut people off in mid sentence to gasp or say "oh wow" to a particularly strong movement.
I've been trying to get John to feel my belly jump, but catching just the right moment has been hard. He felt a kick for the first time this week as we were getting ready for bed... I love watching his expression as this pregnancy is becoming more and more real to both of us. I've been told that not long from now we will be able to see baby move much more clearly and I can't wait for that so John can experience the joy of our little one more as well.
Less than 4 months to go!
